Max Verstappen isn’t thinking about who he’ll race next year. What do his famous F1 teammates say?

Max Verstappen received much press following the Formula One season, mostly positive coverage, but when talking to the media about the title, Verstappen said he “doesn’t think about it.”

Of course, without facts to go off of, some people assumed he didn’t mean he was unaware of it, considering what his father, Jos, said last year about Hamilton’s early belief he couldn’t win it all.

Michael Schumacher and Hamilton winner on my heart all the way,” Jos Verstappen told reporters last year before his son’s 2016 debut with Red Bull.

Schumacher’s Mercedes teammate, Nico Rosberg, is recovering in a hospital after a December 2016 skiing accident.

On Tuesday, Max was asked who he would like to race next year.

“I don’t have any favorites,” Verstappen said. “I don’t think about it.”

The 18-year-old’s brother, Dani, a current Red Bull driver, also isn’t sure whether he’ll leave the Red Bull family for Renault next year.

“I’ve had good teams in my career so far, so I definitely would like to move on,” he said. “I haven’t decided what team I will move.”

Dani added that he’s told Red Bull that if his brother wins the championship, he’ll move to Renault.
