In an exclusive sit down interview with FOX Soccer Academy’s Joseph Sloan, Leo Messi said: “We are here because the team has been giving us a lot of time to be there and we’ve been in good form and we have a lot of confidence.
“We came from this team and we will always be happy for this team and for the evolution that has happened since the [2015] Champions League final.
“We arrived in this team and have helped them build a fantastic team, they already had some great players already, but we have shown them what we can do.
“They were very strong last year and in the last few years but they’ve been very solid, especially in this league, and we have given them a great opportunity to come back and show they can be in the team that has the potential to beat everybody.”
